Unlike Sims 3, I try not to have too much custom content in my game. As much as I absolutely adore the eyes and hair, unless I really love it and want my sims to use it, I will clear it out, not like in sims 3 where I kept it because I would eventually use it. I am still looking for a nice set of default eyes because I want my sims to have pretty eyes but I want to see it as a trait passed on genetically to their kids. It’s my theory that if you have custom eyes, and you have a child your child can get any of those custom eyes in that line or it just finds something similar so it messes with genetics which as you can tell, I do not like. As I am playing the baby challenge, I also will be transitioning it into a legacy challenge once it is done. As you can see since Annabelle has the red hair and blue eyes, it’s easily passed onto her kids, unless they get their fathers traits.
Oh good lord, I got sidetracked.
So if I do have custom content it’s going to be stuff that’s not passed down like clothes or makeup, and my favorite of all my custom content is the 3D lashes from Kujiko. I absolutely love how eyelashes frame the eyes and I have tried the makeup layer ones but they just seemed off to me. These lashes use the glasses slot so you won’t be able to wear them with these lashes but I’m okay with that. There are so many options but I have a specific type I use on all my sims. If you look at Annabelles photo on that post you can clearly see her lashes.
